SIYABONGA KAKHULU: KWAZULU VISIT ENDS
Our Partners from Embo have completed their visit to the UK but returned late due to the volcanic ash problems!
They spoke at 11 very varied events that went from a formal church service in Northern Ireland to a rip roaring barn dance. They presented prizes at a Golf Tournament that aimed to raise funds for Embo (pictured), loved a Kool KwaZulu jazz event and shared food with many people in almost every location!
"I am so grateful to these amazing men for their willingness to leave their families and share the story of their fantastic work on behalf of the suffering people of Embo," said John Earwicker, Executive Director of MAI. "We are well on our way to enabling their wish to release their 10 Caregivers to go full time from July." The guys say "siyabonga kakhulu" meaning thank you so much!
