MALARIA MARS TABAN UK VISIT
Bishop Elias Taban of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Sudan - our Partner in South Sudan - has been taken ill with malaria, preventing his planned visit to the UK. In addition, his wife has been refused a visa to travel.
"We are sad to hear of Elias' illness and sorry for the many friends who were looking forward to his visit. I will still be honouring the events but I will be a poor replacement for this man of faith, risk and effective action," says John Earwicker, Executive Director of MAI.
John will present the encouragements and challenges of the Goli Healthcare project at the following events:
10 Sept: Abingdon, Christ Church 20.00
12 Sept: Fleet Baptist 10.00
12 Sept: St Mark's, Cheltenham 18.30
14 Sept: West Kilbride 19.30
15 Sept: Ayr, St Columba's 19.00
16 Sept: Maxwell Mearns, Castle Church 19.30
19 Sept: Ayr, Southside Church 11.15
19 Sept: Dundee, Broughty Ferry Baptist 18.30
