GUEST HOUSE PROJECT RECORD YEAR!
In 2008, the Emmanuel Guest House at Vom Hospital made a record surplus of 1,800,000 Naira, sufficient to fund two Junior Doctors that the Hospital could not otherwise have paid. Congratulations to the hard working team at the Guest House.
In 2009, it is anticipated that the extension to the facilities will mean that the Centre can extend its Conference potential, adding considerably to the surpluses available to the Hospital.
Plans are also in hand to develop an Internet Café in the extension, using low voltage computers and solar power. This will provide local employment, a much needed local service, be beneficial to the environment and, again, increase support for the Hospital.
