EMBO CARE GIVERS QUALIFY TO TEST FOR HIV
Excellent news for the community of Embo! The Supervising Nurse and 10 Care Givers have completed the Government approved training programme in Volunteer Counselling and Testing. This allows them to test patients for HIV and qualifies them to do so in the required context of counselling.
Since Embo has no clinic, this represents real progress and offers new hope. This supplements the educational work that the church is doing in the community.
MAI has funded the cost of this training thanks to your generosity.
