DOCTOR CLIMBS THE HEIGHTS FOR SUDAN!
Dr John Gilbert is the first member of the MAI Board to undertake a sponsored event for the charity. Following his recent visit to Sudan and his retirement as a full time GP, John is curently in Ethiopia where he is trekking in the Simian Mountain range.
He will scale the tallest peak (over 4,500 metres) and is seeking sponsorship to contribute towards MAI's massive target to fully fund the staff costs for the next three years at the Goli Hospital.
John says: "I may have retired but it is just the next phase of my work. I plan to visit Sudan twice a year and I am committed to making this hospital a beacon of excellence."
You can sponsor John by visiting our donate page where you can click on "John for Sudan."
