AMBULANCE DOUBLES AS HEARSE!
Such are the challenges of eMbo in KwaZulu Natal that the ambulance, which MAI co-funded with the mother church in Johannesburg, has to double as a hearse.
Pictured is Pastor Leonard Gcabashe assisting as a coffin is placed in the back of the adapted vehicle. The church was helping a widow who has lost her hsuband and three soms to AIDS in the past two years. She has no work and could not afford to pay for transport. The church provided a food parcel, 300 Rand and the vehicle.
The Caregivers lose between two and five clients each month as they seek to bring hope and relief to this hurting community where they currently support some 300 families..
